Release - Strengthen - Grow ~ A Holistic Approach to Stress Release

I am a qualified mind, body & dietary support coach based here at 'Release Therapies Coaching' in Edinburgh, Scotland. I work using a holistic approach to stress release, and believe that healing is possible through the relationship you can establish with myself, along with connecting to your own mind and body.


I have a Counselling, Physical Rehabilitation & Hospitality background and qualified in Eastern somatic practices. I currently coach incorporating my expertise in Qi-gong, meditation, FODMAP, Gluten free & Dairy free dietary support. I work both online & in person.


I specialise in working compassionately with people who suffer from stress, gut health issues and auto immune diseases. I support them by giving them the tools to release their stress and become healthier and happier versions of themselves.



Before I solely became a coach, I previously worked as a counsellor, massage therapist and energy healer within an award winning clinic space. The clients I worked with suffered from stress and had spent a lifetime of living in a survival mode. Therefore, they had been disconnected from themselves and others


A way of distraction for many was by keeping themselves busy by using the following 5 driving behaviours such as:


1. Be Perfect


The lesson - to learn that you are good enough as you are.


2. Pleasing others


The lesson - to engage in your own self care so you can look after your own needs too.


3. Try hard - high achiever or workaholic


The lesson - accept that you are doing the best you can and that you don’t need validation or recognition from anyone else.


4. Be strong


The lesson - you can be safe to show your vulnerability.


5. Hurry up


The lesson - you can slow down and take your time so you can appreciate all of the things around you.


Not only this, they also try to escape their thoughts and feelings by engaging in addictive behaviours such as:


  1. Binge drinking

  2. Online gambling

  3. Drug misuse

  4. Smoking

  5. Comfort eating

  6. Scrolling social media

  7. Shopping


Unchecked, these unhelpful behaviours and addictions can lead to chronic stress, deconditioning, burn out and future health problems.


I replace these unhelpful behaviours and addictions with movement & self care practices such as -


Mindset work,


Breath work,


Body scans,


Meditation,


Tapping,


Sweeping,


Shaking,


Mindfulness,


Physical rehabilitation,


Qi-gong,


Self massage,


Creativity etc..


My aim is to provide a safe and compassionate space for people to learn how to slow down, carry out your inner work, and safely come back home to your body and emotions so you can heal.
